Assistant
Jacob is studying Bachelor of Secondary Education/Bachelor of Arts at Deakin University. He has a passion for education and along with teaching experience within his degree Jacob has taught music at various levels, was a journalist for three years before starting his
degree. He is relaxed and the children enjoy playing lots of games with him, especially ball games. He has a natural affinity with children and an natural ability to communicate well with children.
Senior Coordinator
Jade is studying Bachelor of Education (P-12) at Victoria University in Footscray, majoring in Physical Education Primary. She is engaging and warm and loves being around the children.
She has earned her place as Senior Coordinator as she arranges the entire school holiday program including the excursions.
Our Educators are either fully qualified or currently completing their Teaching qualification. They are diverse and creative like our families, and as such children will connect strongly with at least one staff member. In addition to their formal qualifications, staff also complete professional development, related specifically to OSHC.
Coordinators are fully trained in first aid, CPR, anaphylaxis and asthma management as well as emergency procedures.
Cathe has over a decade of experience working directly with children, firstly as a nanny, and then in an OSHC setting. She worked as director at Mentone Girls Grammar OSHC for 5 years, running and growing their operation and has also worked as a coordinator at Kilvington’s Holiday Program (and relieving in the ELC).
She holds a Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Children’s Services and brings a warmth and maturity to the service. Cathe enjoys working with people and has a natural ability and love for children, with strong community values. She is also a mother of two fully grown children (well done!).
Assistant
Maddy is studing Arts Education (Secondary) at Monash University. She has worked as a teacher's aid at The King David School and as an after school drama instructor at Dramalicious. Maddy enjoys encourging the childrens creative side and relates well to each child as an individual.
